At The Hosteller, we understand that pets are part of the family, and we welcome them at our hostels. However, there are a few guidelines to ensure a comfortable stay for both guests and pets. Here's our policy regarding pets:
Pet-Friendly Hostel: We are a pet-friendly hostel, except for the following locations: Mussoorie By The Stream Side, Jaisalmer Sam Sand Dunes, Mukteshwar, Jodhpur, and Lonavala. At all other hostels, guests are allowed to bring their pets provided they book a private room.
Exclusion from Dorm Rooms: Please note that pets are not allowed inside the dorm rooms. This policy is in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, including those who may have allergies or prefer a pet-free environment.
Responsibility of the Guest: When bringing a pet, it is the guest's responsibility to take care of their pet's needs and behavior. Guests are expected to ensure that their pets are well-behaved, properly leashed, and under control at all times.
Damage and Liability: Any damage caused to the hostel property or belongings of other guests by the pet will be the sole responsibility of the guest. Guests will be held liable for any necessary repairs or replacement costs resulting from their pet's actions.
Booking a Private Room: To accommodate pets, guests are required to book a private room. This ensures a designated space where both the guest and their pet can feel comfortable during their stay.
No Additional Charges: We do not impose any additional charges for our furry guests. However, please note that any costs related to pet care, such as food or supplies, are the responsibility of the guest.
